Worship On Air ministry began when Pastor Joshua Lee, the founder, encountered the needs of Indigenous communities in the outskirts of Canadian cities through outreach efforts. While seeking effective ways to respond to these needs, he connected with Korean groups living in remote areas of British Columbia, which led to the birth of the ministry.

In Worship On Air, outreach is not just a seasonal event or a part of church ministry—it is the core value and DNA of the entire mission. Without outreach, Worship On Air would not exist. Therefore, every community built through this ministry must ultimately be directed toward outreach.

Outreach is not about expanding gatherings or increasing the number of programs. Rather, it is about practicing love for our neighbors and finding meaningful ways to serve the communities we belong to.

Worship On Air collaborates with Indigenous Outreach Society of Canada to support Indigenous communities—particularly around Lillooet, BC—and to help build healthy, thriving communities.

In 2024, Worship On Air commissioned an on-site missionary to Lillooet and began working in partnership with local churches to establish Indigenous faith communities.
